Buy yourself a gold membership and you can buy/sell/trade just about anything (legal) that you want.

Welcome to Bladeforums.

I moved this from Custom & Handmade Knives -- that's a forum for discussing high-end knives. FEEDBACK is more for advice on the selling process.

wont he need a dealer membership to sell zillions of knives?

If he is a dealer he will. However if he just happens to have a shed full of knives and wants to sell them off, a gold membership is all he needs.

I think Ottoshot may be right. Remember, that's American zillions, not Australian zillions. We're talking real money here.

Fair enough.

Of course this raises the question of where the fine line is. If I have one knife to sell, it's a private transaction. If I own a shop, I'm a dealer. That part is pretty clear cut. However, what if I had 200 knives I'd gathered over time and now wanted to sell them off. Would I now be a dealer, or still private?

Not that I really care all that much, I don't own a knife shop and I don't have 200 knives to sell, I'm just mildly curious.

Anyway, your zillions might be bigger than my zillions, but mine look nicer. :)
