Please help 300$ budget

I need to buy a knife it's killing me I have a 300$ limit I prefer folders I need it to look good and function good and be strong please help me out guys
 
More details needed.
Size? Intended uses? Weird laws must be followed? Preference of lock type?
 
Look for any Chris Reeve folder here on the exchange. You can sometimes find some good users in that price range.
 
Size really don't play a factor probably gonna taking on my hikes/survival practice and just basic cutting I have all types of lock styles that don't matter but I love frame locks

I concur, great knife, carried mine today, even though I went to downtown Chicago, where it's .5" over limit.

Could also look at the Matt Bailey Mod 2 in the knife maker's market.

Southern Grind Spider Monkey is great.

I love Spyderco, but have gone away from buying production knives, into more mid-tech and custom now.

Try a Microtech Socom Elite. I bought one off ebay and its kicked every other folder out of my pocket.
 
Many choices, some good ones listed. What about a spyderco manix, a fixed blade off the makers forum and a sharpmaker?

I just picked up a very heavy duty knife under 300 from Kershaw Guy. They are discontinued now so are a real bargain at 139 bucks.
Zero Tolerance 0801.
Frame lock with steel insert, unassisted bearing flipper, titanium, Elmax blade, drop point, stone washed blade. I would say it is pretty hard to beat that at 139 dollars.

You leave a lot of your desired criteria in question but if you don't know exactly what you want, a sebenza is a great choice. Chances are you'll love it or either find it whatever, in which case you can easily sell to a forum member for close to what you purchased it for. They have awesome resale value. Check out the CRK forum here. Lots of options to consider, all around the +$300 price range.
