Please help me find a carry option

It is amazing what scenarios we can come up with in our head.
While we're on that (side) topic. Another personal favorite of mine is - do NOT open carry, if someone comes in to rob the place, YOU will be the first one shot because they do not want you to intervene.

If you notice, this is almost always parroted by cops, security, soldiers, or other people who have been trained to "address the most immediate threat". They are using THEIR perspective, on running an op, to try to predict the actions of a predatory criminal "hitting a lick". This doesn't work as they are two very different scenarios.

I have seen footage of an attempted convenience store robbery in which the BG did not notice the FULLY UNIFORMED cop 2 or 3 people back in line. Overwhelming odds are that he also would have failed to notice someone's open carry. In the event someone planning a robbery DOES notice an open carrier, the realistic outcome is they choose a DIFFERENT store because they know their craft and they know that more effort is put into solving murders than robberies. They also know they carry heavier sentences while not changing the amount of cash in that drawer.

Oh and "registered" is my other favorite gun myth :D

OP - if you don't need a big fixed blade, I find neck knives to be pretty handy..... and kinda stylish too :D Just be careful resheathing, don't stab yourself in the throat.

Yeah I dont personally OC a firearm and only once in a while will OC a fixed blade. The average on looker, criminal or not, is so wrapped up in themselves I have learned not to worry about printing so much either. The average person is so unobservant that I greatly doubt anyone carrying small of back is going to have a huge issue on their hands. There are always those that will tell you some tall tail about how their brothers, sisters, mothers, 3rd cousins, roommate once had their knife taken from them in line at a convenience store. But we all know that is vanishingly small in terms of absolute numbers. If you meet someone that thinks that is a real possibility in their life have them buy you some lottery tickets. I figure they are about on par in terms of likelihood.
