third time in a row getting kicked out while trying to edit and add to a previous post. Dot Defender is great for rendering the forum almost useless at times! :thumbdn::thumbdn::thumbdn:

Since this post, I have been kicked off the forum over a dozen different times by Dot defender, this is very frustrating.

Action: Trying to read a thread in the For Sale: Fixed Blades forum.

I was doing a Google search for a particular knife, saw a Bladeforums post in the search results, clicked on that result and received this - 69b0-80fa-5a0c-b964

When I tried it again a little later, I got this- 5fe0-73c0-29aa-22e0

I like the special twist of database errors mixed in with dotdefender messages

From the Bladeforums Facebook Page:

Just a heads up on Dot Defender issues: we're aware of the problems and are working on them. In this instance it's not actually something that we've screwed up, it's our hosting provider who has royally boned things including the search engine & basic access (due to their EPIC FAIL in more ways than one).

Sorry for the inconvenience, we WILL get this resolved
Just wanted to cross post this here and say thanks Karda, the last day or so have been trouble free for me with the forum...knock on wood...

Yeah, we've opened up DD quite a bit to try to stop some of the issues - the settings had to be greatly modified in order to cope with normal traffic.

Spark,
Thanks for everything you(and the admin) do to keep Bladeforums up and running.
