Brian,
We are really sorry for your friend. Our best wishes go out to you and his family. Remember sometimes miracles do happen.

10 years ago I sat all night vigil with a friend whose wife had had a brain hemorrhage. They wrote her off many times, but she pulled through. She's in a wheel chair these days, but her brain is working. She holds up her end in a game of Scrabble or Trivial Pursuits when they come over for Thanksgiving. That first Thanksgiving we shared was in a hospital room.
Another friend of mine had a stroke in the prime of life at 32. He is still around (and actually a much nicer person) at age 58.
My prayers are with you and your friend, whatever the outcome.
Greetings from the outside front entrance of the hospital. bad at tyyping on my new PDA, but thank you for all the well-wishes. This is hard. he's too young, and too full of life. Didn't ake good care of himself - bad habits, and I tried to get him to quit smoking etc., and get some exercise besides banging the drumns.
I'm worriued about his son, who is an aspiring drumming prodigy just like his Dad.
Sorry. Talk to you soon. and Thanks again for smoke and prayers.
I'm really sorry for your loss. I'm praying for you, for peace, direction, and wisdom in the midst of this situation. I'm also praying for John, his family, friends, the doctors treating John, and for a miracle; some times they happen, although not always the way we expect them.
I prayed for Mr. Fowler and his family, truely a sad story, Prayed that his family would be OK! and God will take him into Heaven so he may have peace for all the rest of his days forever.
