Please send thoughts and prayers to Buck forum regular Oregon.

Tousend thoughts are going through my head when I read this. I am with you, Steve, with you and and your family.
Is there anything I can do for you? Do you have a fire insurance? Do you need anything?

Haebbie

My thoughts are with you and your family, and I hope your son has a fast recovery.
If there is anything I can do please feel free to contact me.
I am very sorry to hear this sad news.

You fellas are very kind and we are OK. Beloved son is okay. Wife & I were baby sitting wonderful grandchildren, miles away, while son slept at home. He is day sleeper. Thank neighbor for investigating smoke & fire who, on scene, ran around home banging on all windows and doors yelling fire get out. This saved my son. More later. Thank you all. I have ins. Knives covered replacement value.

Steve, I just read this due to the time difference. I am so sorry. I have been through a loss like that. You will be in our prayers.

Many kind thanks gentlemen. I'm not crying there is something in my eyes.

I am at my older son's house and his family is blanketing us in love. I have made appropriate contact insurance moves & know my rights/ options. We will transition to hotel then rental home then we will see.

We are solvent, liquid and can defend ourselves if need be. Insurance has been very forth coming & pleasant. Authorities have not been that. There is a story here that I will tell when it ripens.

I draw my strength from you. Keep faith in the truth. Keep your best knives in bank vault. Don't use electric dryers when a clothes line outside would work!!

This is such terrible news I'm so glad everyone is OK and safe .

May prayers and faith keep you strong through this event .

Oregon,

Even though your knives are covered by insurance at replacement cost, some of them may be hard to locate. Once you have done an inventory of your knife losses, if some of us have duplicates maybe there will be a way to help you, either as a gift or selling to you at our cost. I am sure a lot of forum members would like to help. Don't be too shy or proud to let us know what you need.

I owe the Buck Family, this forum, the entire collector community for all time an apology for losing the knives I dearly loved & proudly displayed in my home and right here in this forum. Please accept my humble apology. I will not collect any more antique items, full stop. I have retrieved a few pieces already, stop to cry, then dig some more. Photos would make you ill.

You have nothing to apologize for, thank goodness no one was seriously injured.

I have no other words other than prayers and thoughts.
