Be specific.
Eg. if you want usa made schrades (and who doesn't ?) search "schrade knives usa" rather than simply "schrade knives"
This will search usa schrades in other countries as well -not just usa.
If you search "pocket knives " its like urinating in the ocean.

In the left side of the screen for search results, there is a heading called "Location". Just pick "US Only" or "North America". Unfortunately, there isn't a way to exclude only China, but those two generally work well enough (at least for me).
Or, you can click the "Choose More" link, and set a number of miles from a specific ZIP code. Not sure how that would work for European addresses. Maybe pick a NY ZIP and a radius large enough to encompass Europe but still exclude Asia? I've never tried that. You can experiment around with it.

Common sense and knowledge is your best bet. Learn as much as you can about the specific knives that interest you, learn about the makers, the design, the materials used, the locations where they are made. That is what will assist you from separating the garbage from the quality. If you do not like "Chinese" knives, simply do not buy them. Keep in mind that you must pay for quality in higher end knives. If all you are intested are blades that come in under $50, you don't have much to worry about as far as being fooled by a fake.
