Does anyone have any experience with the work of Plowshare Forge?
He makes what seem to be very good reproductions of various collectible knives, and his prices are fairly reasonable.

I realize this thread is two years old, but my experience with Dan Brock of Plowshare Forge has been great. Dan doesn't put fancy fittings or finishes on his knives....they're almost a little bit crude. They actually look like they were made by a country blacksmith in the 18th century. That being said, the temper of his blades is fantastic. They take, and hold a razor edge, probably better than most big-buck custom knives I've seen. I've got a reproduction Dan did of one of a WWII Smatchet, and it's nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. You can't go wrong with one of Dan's knives....especially at the prices he charges.
