I was on a Delica 4 kick last week and this week I bought two more PM2's. A regular black satin blade and a blade with black blade (thanks Sonnydaze). I will have the black / black tomorrow. I haven't really carried one of the PM2's yet so my question is, what is the best method you guys found? Clipped inside pants / shorts, holster, etc... Thank you.

I always carry mine tip-up clipped in my left front pocket. Sometimes, if I'm wearing cargo pants, I'll put it in the left front flap pocket.

Tip up, clipped in the right front pocket. I've had a rough time lately deciding if I should carry the Para 2 or the Brad Southard... All week I've been carrying two knives, even though I've been mostly using the Para 2. I just can't bring myself to leave one at home! They are both THAT good!

If I didn't have anything else in my pocket, I'd go tip-up clipped RFP. However, since my hands are big and I keep my keys in there, I usually just deep-pocket carry whatever I choose to EDC. Which, most days, is the Para2.

I normally carry a CRK Small Sebenza in the brown calfskin pouch which avoids anything scratching the knife.

What do you guys do to avoid things rubbing or scratching the knife besides not carrying anything else in the same pocket? Any kind of good pocket slip sheaths for the PM2??

Or do you not have to worry because of the black G10 scales?

I don't baby $100 knives much, they are easily replaced. I just clip it to my pocket and that's all I do.

clipped tip up in my left front pocket. sadly my pm2 is my only left handed capable knife (i'm left handed also).

other knives i carry clipped tip up in my right coin pocket

I just clip the knife and go. Nothing special.

OK - clip and go! That is what I will do for now on. Thanks for all the replies so quickly!

It looks like a lot of you go tip-up carry, not me, not with a PM2. I don't know about your PM2's, but none of mine give me that absolute 100% confidence in the detent, not to mention that blade shape/tip. We have all been cut, but that one would be a hall of famer'. I carry right front pocket, clipped. Plenty of room for keys and what not.

Tip up , clipped in the right hand pocket with the spine of the blade against the seam of the pocket... never had a knife unintentionally open in my pocket with that setup.

Scratch your knife? CRK runs a spa service man, no need to baby them.

Anyways I carry my PM2 in a belt custom sheath by Pocketknifesheaths (Alan). Very high quality sheaths, I got three of them now.

Keep it in my left pocket
I don't like clipping knives that are over 7"
always seems to dig into my leg!

right hand pocket clip down and use it just about everyday as i have a few back-up para's when i wear this one out.**
