Pm3 crucarta check

Hey all,

Was hoping some folks with a pm3 crucarta or experience in discerning fakes could take a look at this pm3 and tell me if anything seems off:

The bug logos in pic 1 and pic 3 look different.

Pic 1 looks like a legit logo. Pic 3 looks like a common counterfeit logo
 
Here's it in comparison to my military 2 crucarta from smkw which I know is legit.

I wasn’t aware the micarta PM3 lockbars were exposed like that. My previous PM3 were g10 and the lockbar was hidden underneath the g10 scale, underneath a cut out.

I have a pm2 crucarta (oldest son) a military crucarta (me) and just got this pm3 carta for my youngest son, on the pm2 (came directly from Golden CO and my m2 from smkw they both have the full exposed liners, though the pm3 carta looks a little different but I think its the shrinking of the whole knife

They went with full liners because they couldn’t get the Micarta stable enough nested, like G10 models. The PM2, Para 3, And Military 2 all have exposed full liners.
 
I ordered this exact knife a couple days ago . Is out for delivery this morning . Is now 6pm so I am hoping any minute now . I keep going to the window and sniffing around but I don't think that's helping .

I can't post images but I will compare mine to yours . I'm a big Para 3 fanboy / user and yours looks good to me .
What makes you question yours ?

I don't usually order knives on Amazon because I trust them as much as a weasel in my chicken coop, but I threw caution to the wind apparently and picked up the pm3 for my son from there. Glad it worked out. It's a fantastic little knife and im kinda wishing I bought it for me lol

I had the Crucarta PM2 when they first came out and I swear it was nested and not exposed like the PM3 above. I could be remembering wrong too.
 
Yep got mine ! ! !
Even the font on the box is the same so it seems we have "the real deal" .
Probably just a clue as to when they were made or some such but on the end of my box where yours has : " GY " and directly below it " 1660 " mine has " HY and " 1585 " .
I'll probably get shuned for saying this but :
Mine is the same down to the kind of rough jiddery edges on the liners .
If these had been "fakes" made in China I would put money on it that the edges of the liners would have been smooth .
there I said it . 😔

I mean I like a bit of extra traction so it is fine as is . . .
If you think I am being a total out of line git and just making sheet up . . . if you have a Tenacious in front of you take a look as the exposed liners . 🤷‍♂️

did you do anything special to the Micarta on your Millitary 2 or did you get that nice look from just using it ?
