Looking for a pocket fixed blade for edc stuff... should be relatively sheeple friendly...will be used for basic cutting, slicing up fruit and cheese (lunch type stuff) and light whittling...

there are a lot of nice ones out there...

A G Russell Woodswalker. If you don't have one, you owe it to yourself to buy one. Great little knife

I would reccomend one of the thin Busse Game Wardens or a Swamp Rat Swamp Warden. Tough as nails, great warranty and compact with a three inch blade. A Firefighter/EMT friend of mine carries a thin Game Warden in his turnouts. It is one of his favorite knives.

Double R,

Gotta go with the Woodswalker. Alternatively, go to the tailor and have him install HUGE pockets.

Just ordered a Blind Horse patch knife. Sounds like a good fit for what you're describing. I'd say you can hardly go wrong with the price ($40). I hear their Tiger Knapp is also a nice one.

Riley, don't you already have a Woodswalker and Mini Canadian? What don't you like about those?

My pocket fixed blade of choice is the Bark River Mini Canadian in the Russell Woodswalker's sheath (although I've seen better pocket sheaths from JRE).

I just finished these three up tonight top one a Spooky Spear Point 5" Blade
the middle one is a Spooky Spear Point 4" blade and the bottom one
is a PSKK 3" blade which one do you want :D LOL
I think these are very SHEEPLE freindly and and very sharp.

Take care RR,

Mike I never get tired of your picture there. What is the knife under the ML personal?

John

From my experience....a Busse Thin Gamewarden Or a Swam Rat Swamp Warden.

One of LANDI'S new designs you would like also.

Let me know if you need help finding any one of them.

bear-- that is an EDC style knife made by john T wiley... he's out of NV.. he's a great guy and a bad a$$ knifemaker... this is the second knife i have of his... the misses stole the first...:o

Add one more for the Busse Game Warden, or the Scotch Dispenser Warden! That Scotch Dispenser Warden makes a heck of a necker!! And because the design is a little different, peoples first reaction is generally "What kind of knife is that?" rather than screaming and running for the hills...

The only FB I've pocket carried in the city is a Busse Cultellus, such a great little blade. Thin, light and tougher than nails.:D

either these guys have the key to my front door, or I'm hanging out here too much!

I'm with them, SW or GW or WW and I put a Farmer for comparison.

... should be relatively sheeple friendly...I agree with others. It would be hard to beat the AG Russell Woodswalker. Looks so much like a small paring knife that no one should pay any attention to it. They are great companions for EDC.

It's good to here some poitive comments on the woodswalker. I have thought about getting one for a while just never heard anyone with any experience with them.
