pocket fixed blade

I carry a old hickory paring knife in a home made sheath some what like the woods walker sheath decent steel and about as sheeple friendly as you can get, If I am ask about it I tell them I afraid a T-bone might attack me. always gets a laugh

Here is my pocket fb - a Bark River 'Huntsman' with a River Rock 2xAAA .5W LED light ($10 at Target) in a KSF sheath:

That fits a front cargo pants pocket quite well, while that handle will stick out of a back pocket by ~1".

Below are my two new Buck Gen5s - great candidates for pocket carry - same length as the Huntsman, but the fg won't fit the older KSF sheath - perhaps the newer Adirondock model.

The BR Huntsman is .187" A2 tool steel - and will rust. The charcoal birch handled Buck Gen5 is 420HC - and probably the hardest to stain, with the 154CM rosewood handled Gen5 somewhere between.

My Fallkniven F1 and its 3.8 inch blade easily fits into a pocket. Its a little knife that's very versatile.

I love my Swamp wardens ,Becker BK11,Bark River PSK & Mikro C. II, Proto type Izula from Rat Cutlery,Buck hartsook.

I EDC a Busse fatty Game Warden this one I would rate as borderline sheeple apeasing.

Busse is my personal quirk (fat, thick [0.27 inch], heavy, yes some cutting ability sacrificed for fat blade profile) keep in mind that they do have much thinner Busse game wardens out there that may actually aproach the barely sheeple apeasing to grudgingly tolerable sheeple apeasing category, however I definately belive the one that is right up your alley would be a Billy Potter Loveless Style hunter with Cocobolo wood handles, O1 mirror polished 3 inch blade, and mosaic pins in the handle. Total length is 7 3/4 overall. Mine cuts like you wouldn't (don't let the sheeple know about it's cutting ability it may induce an immediate panic attack) belive blade thickness on mine 1/8 of an inch the knife has a very disarming classic distinguished look (gentleman type.) I rate this one adequately sheeple apeasing I EDCed this for a while but it looked so nice I didn't want to use it, a small swiss army knife I would rate as sheeple friendly, and a disposable plastic food knife with no edge I would rate as 100% sheeple certified and accepted.

Here's my pocket FB - It fits perfect in the pocket and the blade is darn near bullet proof. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics in the last two.

Man - that woodstalker is going to enter my kit too - what a great price!

It is great to see a positive on the Gen 5. That is a handsome knife too.
