Anybody have any ideas on who or where to find a good smallish fixedblade w/somekind of backpocket sheath ? I have my CCDW permit here in Ky. & packing a fixedblade on my belt usually draws some weird looks from people:rolleyes:

the BRK&T tricke is really small, under $50 and comes with some kind of pocket sheath, but i dont know what the sheath looks like.

Gossman PSK or PSK jr with a sharpshooter sheath should do ya or

BRKT PSK w/ same sheath

go to Bladeplay and look at Boker's small fixed blades. Usually free shipping.

very nice.

Either the A.G. Russell Woodswalker or a pocket sheath from knivesshipfree.com and either one of the small Bark River knives or a small Arno Bernard knife to go in it.

Bark River Micro slither, Bark River Trickle, Ranger Little Bird, MEULA Mouse, all 4 my favorite "pocket" fixed blades!

Pocket sheath = Woodswalker :)

The Gossman PSK has a flat sheath that will fit into your pocket.

The new AG Russell Hunters Scalpel is available via the Knife Collectors Club. Hard locking sheath and a good size for pocket carry.

I carry a Mora 510 in my cargo pocket.

SwampRat SwampWarden.....large enough to act as a real blade but small and slim enough for pocket carry...awesome little knife !!!!;)

the WoodsWalker is really nice and I like the Dogfish. I just got/won a custom "Koyote" Patch knife,
he does great work so if your wanting something special and hand made I'd check our custom guys out.

I carry a BRK&T mini-Canadian in a KSF pocket sheath in my right front pocket. A great combo but I haven't tried it in a back pocket (I spend too much of my day sitting)

I carry my Charlie May Swamp Oak in my pocket a lot:

Busse Game Warden is small enough for pocket carry too:

While the Woodswalker is an excellent knife, I'm sure, I'll also reccomend one of these.

Yes. I am being serious. Old Hickorys have sharp, carbon steel blades that take a great edge. They will patina with use, or you could induce one. They are dirt-cheap, and fairly easy to modify. A sheath could be made out of anything from leather to milk cartons. Duct tape, like in a duct tape wallet, could make a very servicable back pocket sheath.
