I love making these little guys.

Two x Little fingers (one with a harpoon blade), two x Pocket wharncliffes and a Zipper, all ready for new homes. More to come!

It's Cruwear with an artisanal heat treatment of 62.5HRC full Cryo. Ground thin. Full ergo handle. I call that handle pattern "Sideshow" it's really great in all grabs. It's a combo handle of linen micarta and burl micarta. I think it looks nice, and the burl micarta is very durable.

With the sheaths, I made two.
But the pancake is special because I made it more discreet, yet easy to access. I added a pull tab I made from a unique material that I have, called Armour X. It's a high impact, wear resistant material. I describe it as a hard, rubbery version of UHMW. It isn't. But it feels that way. I used it instead of a "normal" bead, hoping it will be gentler on cars, furniture, etc.

Just pull the tab, and it's Up.

Last two Little Finger EDC in .100 thick S90V. 2.7 inch blade lengths, dovetail mitered handles of carbon fiber or ivory G10 over maroon linen micarta. Pocket clip leather sheaths. Overall length is 5.75 inches.

What length blade do people like for a pocket fixed blade? It looks like Horsewright and Navman like blades in the 2” to 3” range.
 
Generally, 2.5" to 3" for me. With most of mine being in the 3" range...give or take a quarter inch more, or less, on any given piece. 3.5" being the longest of any I'll use for the purpose.
 
I like around a 3” blade. Its mainly from my experience with folders. I had large and small folders and 3” was on the largest size that I was willing to carry every day. The handle length and shape make a difference in carry too, with a 4” handle being a nice length for me. It fits my hands. Handles and blades that are too wide take up pocket space. I think a knife shape that is symmetrical around its center line, like a dagger, help in pocket carry, too.
