Photos Pocket Fixed Blades

norcalAF norcalAF thank you kindly for sharing some of my humble work. The Hudson Bay blanket G-carta handled one is a Fried Liver Attack, and the next one over is a Marten Scout variant with pointier than normal clip point and Raffir moon glow uranium scales.

This is the Edge-C, which was named by my aforementioned friend Dave as the winning name suggestion a few years ago when I made the first run in AEB-L. It’s a sort of acronym for everyday gent’s carry.

This one is MagnaCut and stabilized Birdseye maple. It comes in spear point too. I made a few other blade shapes on the first run as well.

There is a town with that name in Missouri, it is pronounced by the locals as Bow-Dark 🤣

Yes the trees, Osage are common in that area. Farmers plant them as hedge rows.
Very durable wood used for Bows, and it's rot resistant so fence posts.

Me personally, I like it for knife handles!
I was thinking one of my next was going to get some, but I think plans are changing....

Another extremely robust wood from Missouri is the locust tree, horrible huge thorns, but the wood is incredibly hard and also very rot resistant. We made many a corner post out of it!
