I always imagined that one was much smaller than it is.This is the Edge-C, which was named by my aforementioned friend Dave as the winning name suggestion a few years ago when I made the first run in AEB-L. It’s a sort of acronym for everyday gent’s carry.
This one is MagnaCut and stabilized Birdseye maple.

Another extremely robust wood from Missouri is the locust tree, horrible huge thorns, but the wood is incredibly hard and also very rot resistant. We made many a corner post out of it!Yes the trees, Osage are common in that area. Farmers plant them as hedge rows.
Very durable wood used for Bows, and it's rot resistant so fence posts.
Me personally, I like it for knife handles!
