Yes, it's the one and only. The one that has been in my pocket everyday since I got it from Jamie in the end of march 20011. The mighty legume that has made me content so that I hardly think about any other pocket knife. It gets augmented now and then, but never replaced. I'm close to being a one knife man. Okay, maybe a three or four knife man.:D

Paul, that's a very nice little pocket unfolder. I've always had a huge soft spot for nice stag. And Alan does such a nice job of the stag and rough forged look contrasting.

I've always liked the idea of. Little pocket fixed blade but sadly it just doesn't work with my line of work. I'm just about done my training as a physiotherapist and it is a no go. I still carry my slip joint daily though. It doesn't get much use as work but I use it a lot outside of work :). On the weekends I often tote a bigger fixed blade--traditional style most the time.
 
Not really traditional is some folks eyes but I love and carry my BHK long trail or brumby lite daily. The long trail I carry in a KSF pocket sheath.

Well, confirmation from the highly respected Mr Jackknife. I too am trying out the pocketable fixed blade. Got a BRK Little Creek about a month ago. Been carrying it in my front jeans pocket with my Sobuster Jr. in my right rear pocket. So far I'm really liking it. Need to install a small lanyard though, easier to fish out in a hurry. Re-sheathing it can be a challenge. Not the perfect solution yet but time will tell. Really like the super sharp little blade, plenty of backbone. I'm about 80% convinced it will stay in my pocket. Never will give up on the folder though. Love that ol'timey feeling and the beauty of steel and bone or antler. The pitfall..... wanting more BRK's. And a Barlow,...and another Stockman.....and so it goes.
 
My pocket fixed blade is not very traditional it a Boker Vox collaboration, I liked it do much I bought its big brother. The little guy fits with my pocket tin extremely well.

Another Alan Davis fan here. I finally got over my trepidation and used this little bugger for a week, and it's started a bluish patina. The handle is water buffalo and the steel is 1095.

I like his designs a lot; the blade designs look like maps (with islands) to me.

I carry a very non traditional Ka-Bar bk14 or bk11 daily alongside my peanut, and where I live it's completely OK to have in pocket as the handle sticks out of my pocket about a half inch. If I move the knife 3 inches foreward it becomes illegal without a concealed weapons permit, as the hem of the pocket hides the rest of the handle, but if it stays where it's supposed to it's legal. In Kentucky individual jurisdictions cannot change state laws, so I can go anywhere in state carrying this way and follow the law.
 
A while back I put a Busse Game Warden in my coat pocket. It was an experiment, because that knife fit in that pocket. 3” blade, 4” grip, 7” overall. After a year or so I realized it was a perfect combination. Good handles are important to, and the Game Warden has them. It has enough blade to do most tasks. It’s stronger than any folder. And it’s with me except during the summer hot.

If I wanted a less expensive replacement I’d look at the Becker Eskabar or the ESEE IZULA-II.

But the real question is where is THE peanut? The one carried for 40 or so years by a man that didn't think much of his knife, but became a knife legend. I shall be patient, for some day maybe I shall see it and all shall bow to its glory. :D

The only truely pocket knife I have is a Brusletto Bader @ 5" with a 2" (5 cm) blade and a 3" (75cm) handle with a three finger grip
The sheath is also very minimal
So it fits very nicely in my pocket

My next size up is the Brusletto Spikkekniven @ 6 1/2" with a 2 1/2" blade and a 4" handle with a full four finger grip
The sheath is also very minimal

The Mora Original Classic #2/0 with the original sheath is also very small.

I have some small Barkies, but the over engineered sheaths render them impossible for a pocket carry
 
Kamagong,i love those puukos!,,how big are they???....the only pocket sized fixeds i have (apart from my sharpfinger) are my sheffields that ive posted before...i carry one daily along with a slipjoint.....................FES

I may have commented on this photo before(?) but I do like that combination.

What's the handle on your BHK, and was it custom? I've seen only solid colors so far.
