Pocket Fixed Carry

Hello,

I was thinking a bit today, what my next blade purchase should be, not at all bored of my current collection, but looking to expand to fill specific needs. The need in this case is a fixed blade for daily office pocket carry. I currently wear a neck knife, but am starting to get weird comments and looks about the paracord around my neck. So like many knife nuts, I use the smallest excuse to buy a new blade.

The only constraint is the length I am looking for. I would prefer the entire package to be less than or equal to 5 to 5.5 inches. While many offerings, such as BRKT, fit the length they are for blade only. The Gene Ingram Pocket Hippo looks like it may work.

So do any of you rock a small fixed blade at the office? Are there any small pocket sheath options out there, smaller than the KSF Anarondack?

Why not just put your neck knife in your pocket? That's what I do with my 5" OAL (including sheath), neck knife. It disappears into my pocket so I gave it a short lanyard to make it easier to draw. I still don't think it's quite as quick as a folder with a pocket clip, but I'm getting used to it.

i like ag russell deer hunter and bird and trout they are great pocket fixed blades . very cool sheaths.

Here's what I usually carry, knife-wise. I luckily don't have to tuck my shirt in.

The sheath doubles as a IWB sheath when I am wearing khakis or slacks.

This knife/sheath disappears inside your pocket, looks like your typical folder clip on the outside so no one pays any attention to it
1095 steel & scary sharp ! Awsome little knife & I love to carry it ! Tougher than any folder that you will carry

I'm gonna get a "Runt" from Andy Roy at Fiddlebackforge and carry it in one of the pocket sheathes from KSF. I've been using a Mini Canadian from Bark River but it is just a tad to big for me to carry in my pocket.

That's a Busse Badger Attack Tac (BATAC).

I recommend a Ranger Knives Little Bird or a BM Activator. The Little Bird is the smaller of the two.

I've carried one of these by AG Russell for years and really like it! It's worth a look. Not real big but pretty PC. It's served me well for 10 years or so now.

If your interested in a custom you might check JK Knives in the makers section here. I've been pocket carrying a Pack Knife of his.

It's a little bigger than you want at 6", but he does have a baby kephart and neckmuk that fall within your desired size, or he would make one from your design.
