POCKET KNIFE: what are your favorite uses?

Food, daily. This is why I like a longer blade.

Wood. Very often. Not daily, but weekly.

Turning screws, cutting paper and zip ties, filing my nails, tweezing splinters and opening bottles. "Wait! What?"

I grew up with Boy Scout knives and just assume that knives have tools. Except now I carry single blade knives. So I carry a Micra in my off pocket. So, for me, carrying a knife always means carrying 2. My EDC knife and the Micra.

I cut open A LOT of bags of bird seed, cat food, and dog food every month - gotta feed the critters - ZT 0770 works great:

Whatever task that needs a knife. Mostly it's work related( construction ), but occasionally a thread tries to escape and it is cut off before it can unravel itself.
I now enjoy using my kitchen knives, it makes such a big difference when you have good tools for the job at hand.

Opening/taking down boxes.. letters daily. Cutting cord, scraping, using tip as needle. I just realized I am weird though, I have so many folders by my desk it never occurs to me to use it when I am eating. Like I would try to pry some chicken apart with only my hands and a plastic fork  Guess I'll start now

I carry a SAK, so basically I save the earth and rescue civilization as we know it on a daily basis.

Me too.. but I use this little guy for clamshell packaging. that's the ticket ;)

Yes! Love that blade on my Wingman. I thought it was a waste of cool tool space, until I tried using it for its intended purpose. It also works great on tape holding the cardboard boxes closed if you want to reuse the boxes right away with out taking them down. And using your "package opening" tool makes it a whole lot less likely of damaging the contents of a package with a knife blade. It's a good letter opener too. Go figure! [emoji41][emoji12]
Also, I love using my long blade to help prepare/consume my lunch every day.

I haven't tried it, but a VERY thorough Bris on a pedophile seems like a useful task.
