Here's my Pocket Monster:

On a more serious note:

Gotta throw a Buck Paradigm in for good measure.I have a Para2 that I like and will end up getting a ZT561.

Actually, the so-called Espadas are really navajas, which were folders back in medieval times. An espada is a straight-bladed sword.

I was between the HR1 and the BM 275 adamas for a while but I ended up getting the 275

but seriously if I did get the retribution I WAS going to pocket carry that bastid as a edc

Retribution is too big for a pocket. Just walk down the street carrying it in your hand.

I never saw the point in a folder that large, wouldnt a fixed blade be more practical

This topic has had sole threads devoted to it. In short, no. Well, maybe for you, not for others. It's all personal preference. Fixed blades take up twice the room on your person, and need a sheath, so no. (I'm talking strictly for LONG, big folders, as I'm not a fan of super thick, pry bar folders)

I guess everybody has their own criteria, depending on their size and carry circumstances.

Personally I think a PM2 is a big knife, and I've carried a lot of big knives, but I don't consider a PM2 to be a pocket monster. I'm not sure if I even consider a Military to be that. But I do consider the BM 275 to be a pocket monster, as well as these 2 CRKT's that I bought to play with.

I have the Espada Large which is one step down in size from the XL shown earlier in this thread.

The Espada line is Cold Steel's inspired take on the classic Spanish navaja.

(BTW, the step down from the Large, the Espada Medium, is still pretty large for a folder.)

I have a really old jj Martinez 11 inch blade folder just looking at it you can tell it's old and is real stag and on the other side it has INOX engraved

My pocket monter is a Lion Steel SR-1AL. The new Lion Spy is even larger, and the Graymans are pretty large, but out of all beefy folders, I probably like Hortons the best

I want a Horton bad. Man are they beauties. Got to start saving for a Horton though.

The BM 275 Adamas isn't the largest pocket monster I have...

The BM 610 Rukus is! My mini-pocket monsters:

The BM 755 MPR is my EDC. Then there is my run of the mill monsters:

My first pocket monster - and still a favorite - is the Buck 110.

One of my pocket monsters 4-1/4" blade and around 10 ozs. of Ti and steel. Its quite the beast and opens soooo! smooth. It makes my Smf look small. :D

I know I know

but I am a big guy ( 6'5 300lbs ) and I wear big pants and I am dead serious I would have pocket carried a HR1

I'm not that big, more like 5'11" and 200 lbs, but I still pocket carry my HR-1 at times. I have slimmed down the handles and added a pocket clip though. Here it is with my ZT0200 and Case HB Whittler;

Also, anyone know when the HTM AXD will become available, and if it will have the bowie style blade??
