Here's a knife I made from 5160 by stock removal. It has been heat treated to approx. HRC 60. Gunkote'd finish. Flat ground with a convex edge.

Includes a vertical carry kydex sheath.

If you're going to abuse a knife, this one would do pretty well. I made a few of these over the years and destruction tested a couple, eg. putting the knife between two concrete blocks and trying to snap it with a sledgehammer ... couldn't break it -slabs would come off, but the blade refused to snap. (I don't recommend that you try this as it's pretty dangerous and this one is really sharp ;)).

Anyway, here are some pictures:

Overall Length: 7.5"

Blade Length: 3.75" (to top of handle scales)

Stock thickness: 1/4"

Finish: Gunkote

Handle Material: Green Canvas Micarta

Price: SOLD + Shipping

It will go to the first "I'll take it" reply to this thread

I don't know how he did it, but Marcus got this knife to me in no time flat. I'm still trying to grasp how the design/magic of a knife this size can fill up your hand so well. Great job, Marcus!
