Very nice! Is it a horizontal belt carry?

No, it's a vertical carry some how the photo turned on it's side when I attached it, still not sure of the proper sequence to follow when attaching photos.
I am in the process of Barranti make me a matching pants belt with the appropiate basket stamp, he does excellent work.

Ha I got a customer survey from the last purchase at KSF and expressed exactly that, some new options on the pocket slip where can carry more stuff

I asked not because of the position but because of the buckle. It looked like it could have a loop going all the way around to allow for horizontal carry. The buckle is only ornamental, then? Looks great!

I personally like and use belt sheaths and pouches .
I have a few pocket slips , but in reality the only one that sees action is a simple soft leather one that i use for my older SAK cadet that i want to protect from pocket damage .
Over the years i have moved more to the pouch type belt sheath with a flap , but still do wear a open friction fit sheath on occasions .

I have the KSF pocket sheath which came with my Northwoods (new style) but I already front pocket carry my leather wallet and the two are too similar in the same pocket. That and it does add even more time to the access of a traditional which is already a two handed slow operation. Having to fish in between my phone and wallet without either falling out of my pocket at the same time is a step too far for me. I have a Case belt sheath in dark brown suede permanently on my belt and really like it. It molds to the knife, is discreet and both easy to reach and fast to access.
