Pocket-sized tank

Swamp Warden is a great small fixed blade, if you can find one- they are quite stout. Most any quality fixed blade is preferable to a folder in hard use situations. The original Mini Manix is a tank of a folder, the CF S90V Manix 2 is lighter and easier to edc yet very strong.

If you are talking about a three inch fixed blade, almost any decent quality brand should be fine. It aint easy to wreck a three inch fixed blade. For folders The Kabar Mule should hold up to any task you give it.

Check out JK's knives on this forum.

For small fixed blades, I highly recommend Charles May & Gene Ingram. And Busse of course.

Tough small folders:
Yuna
DDR Trigger Express
Strider PT
GTC Downsized Prisma
Kirby Lambert Flare
Jens Anso Rebel
Bob Terzuola
Scott Sawby Combat Utility
Matt Cucchiara
Rick Hinderer XM-18

Fallkniven WM1.. Super tough and and as good or better than several mentioned with regard to cutting performance..:D

I have bot the original Mini Manix and Manix 2 S90V. I agree they are very good solid folders.

Buck 340 Vantage select-420HC-I'm told will be available in s30v sometime in future production.

Stomper has one on his site right now that definitely fits the small tank. Check it out, JK knives.
