Lately, I find that I prefer a small fixed blade over a folder. Can anyone recomend a pocketable fixed blade? I can't wear one on my belt at work but pocket size would work. Any ideas?

I pocket carry for EDC-my two favorites so far are the DPx HEST and the Buck Paklite Skinner, though the Izula is incredibly popular as well. The RKK Snitch has been seeing some pocket time too, it's in ATS-34 if you're iffy on high carbon...

ESEE Izula
Becker-Necker
Fallkniven WM1 or TK6

all of these will fit in your pocket.

I recently started carrying a fixed blade in my front pocket instead of a folder. I carry a JK Pack Knife my wife surprised me with on my birthday. I really like it. 6" oal

If I hadn't of gotten it I would probably go with an Izula.

I'm a huge fan of small fixed blades. Here's two that I can carry in my front pocket just about anywhere:

This fixed blade is 5 3/4" OAL and fits in the pocket sheath along with a small slip joint:

This one is 5 3/4" OAL by Bud Nealy. It came with a sheath system that allows many different carry options but it sits well in my front pocket too:

Bark River makes some nice small fixed blade knives also.

All over the Izula baby. Perfect size for that application. Any number of neck knives can work for that application too, but I think the Izzie's the best recommendation...

The Izula fits nicely in my pocket and is a fantastic little knife. There are also a few bark river knives i'd consider but haven't gotten around to buying yet. The micro tusk and the PSK are two that i'm going to get eventually for pocket fixed blades.

I carry an Izula or Swamp Warden all the time in my back or front pocket...

Both excellent knives.

I carry an Izula, a BRKT Little Creek or a BRKT Colonial Patch in my right front pocket.

I carry a Jeff Hall designed Hellion necker from Nemesis Knives in my wallet 24/7. Approx 1.5" blade of S30V.

If you are looking for a custom that, while more expensive than many production blades, will give you a tremendous bang for the buck, try to find a Pocket Medicine by Master Smith Ray Kirk.

+1 on the Izula and Swamp Warden, the izula's a little more pocketable, but the SW and more blade length, swamp warden holds its edge better, and has a longer handle, but the izula has more comfortable handles if you get the seperate micarta slabs.

Izula, with factory sheath and cord wrap.

This is the last knife I would ever get rid of.
