Pocketable fixed blade?

Bark River has some great pocket sized fixed blades. I also like the Boker CLB MPT and Boker CLB Subcom Fixed because of their stubby handles.

I have a couple of Blindhorse Knives. This is about the size of their patch knife.

I also have a Busse Game Warden & a Scott Cook small Owyhee. My favorite small knife, is my Todd Begg Tree Frog neck knife.

I just got one of those KaBar JAB piggyback knives for ten bucks or so. I stuck a clip on the sheath so I could cary it on my belt, but it'll definately fit right into your pocket. There's also the Becker Remora, it's about the same size.

i've been carrying a fixed blade, in my front pocket, lately. it's not the same thing you guys are doing, though. it's actually a fairly large fixed blade and the entire handle is outside my pocket :D

HI WJC01 -

Awesome pic! That is exactly what I was thinking of for the OP. Thanks!

best regards -

Today I had my Schrad Sharpfinger with gut hook in my pocket all day and did not even notice it. I carry it on my belt in jeans but in my dress work suit I just put it in my front pocket.

Without the guthook......

That's a good looking knife. What kind of steel is it?

That IS a cool pic WJC01. Where did that pocket sheath come from?

Anything from the Graham Bros. There pocket fixed blades are awesome......and highly addictive lol.

Here's another type of pocket sheath...THere's no clip or fastener. The back side is smooth, with all the contouring on one side. Fits in the pocket of dress slacks and is invisable.

I 2nd the BHK Tiger Knapp, great little knife in O1. May not be the best choice for pocket carry in this humidity though, keep it oiled.

I had a BRKT OMF that I stupidly sold - though I did get a Little Creek in its place

There's also a J Neilson BUK, a Roselli Bearclaw and a Fallkniven TK5 amongst others in the bucket :)

Got a few little scandis waiting for handles too - the sabre grind is great for these little pocket pieces :):D

Benchmade 211
Graham Bros. Stubby Spearpoint

Both are smaller than some folders.

My newest - Boker Pry-Mate - in it's Kydex sheath - fits my pocket nicely, if a bit massive (That 7 mm spine!). Here it is with a Bark River T.U.S.K.:

The PRC-made Boker Gnome may be a better choice. Certainly easier to find - and cheaper.
