Pocketable fixed blade?

I like my small fixed blades as well, I often carry things like a Busse game warden, Emerson La Griffe as well as a few Kiku M. small fixed blades. I have been getting quite in to the Warren Thomas full Ti/carbide blades of late though. They are super light and pack quite a punch so make for a very nice little EDC blade. :)

What about Fred Perrin knives:

Krein has some really nice custom pocket fixed blades.
If this is to expensive he has done a collaboration with Boker.

These will be 2 little "bowie" knives.
1 with g10 handle and the other just like an izula.
They will be cheap because they will be Boker Plus branded.
30-50 dollar.

They will be out soon.

I carry a Bark River Mini Canadian and a Bark River Imp. The Mini Canadian seems to ride in the pocket a little better. I need to get a pocket sheath. My next pocket carry may be a Fiddleback Forge Runt.

I recently built a handle and Kydex sheath for my Spyderco Mule. It is a little large perhaps?

I carry it in my right rear pocked and about 1 inch of handle is exposed out the top of my pocket. I formed a hook in the Kydex similar to an Emerson hook so that I can pull the knife and the hook snags the pocket lining and leaves the sheath behind.

I wish I had a camera to post up some photos...might make everything make a bit more sense?

Woodswalker. But only if you want to cut things with your knife.

If you don't care about cutting things, go with one of those thick, short blades. Or a small metal bar.

I sometimes carry a Bark River Micro Drop Point or an Izula as an urban EDC. For really small fixed blades, I really like the CRKT/Alan Folts Minimalist. If I'm wearing a jacket, one's in a pocket somewhere.

Hi Classified00_2010 -

Stomper (John of JK Handmade Knives) makes a variety of small knives, and he makes sheaths for in-pocket carry, and also has a clip-on style sheath for small fixed EDC blades.

Baby Kephart $100.00 5" oal, 2 1/4" blade, 3/32" thick

Here is his Pack Knife - $85.00 6" oal, 2 3/4" blade, 1/8" thick, 3/8" thick micarta handles.

You can also have Stomper make a knife to your design - he is great to work with.

Check out his forum if you like.

Tops Knives Ferret. Kydex sheath black and white or gray micarta with white spacers 1095 carbon black coated. 4 3/4" Overall and a 1 7/8" Blade and most of that is cutting edge. Maybe 3/32 less than the overall blade length. Disapears in your pocket and you will not have to rob a bank to buy it. Not cheap but less than most I see posted by way far. Check them out At Tops Knives. The Ferret. Extreemly stout build. This photo from their website is washed out a bit. The handle is darker. A lot darker on mine. I would say black with a little white or gray in it. Beautifull little knife. To break it you would have to try very hard but who tries breaking their knives. If you had a leather sheath made it would truly disapear in your pocket. Notice how much of the handle sticks out. I will try to photograph it in my hand and post that photo.

EDIT: Forgot to mention -- all three are amazingly affordable. I'm getting the Necessary Necker myself.

+1 on the Izula. My favorite pocket EDC is my Snody bailout...perfect size and VERY sharp.
