I just wanted to reach out and thank everyone who have posted such nice and encouraging comments towards the show!!!
Having a small role in this podcast has been great fun, and working with Mike and Jason has been an absolute pleasure.
This show represents just an extension of the many wonderful friends that I have made through BladeForums, which I am incredibly grateful for.

Nicely said Neal 😊, thank you my friend for your such valued input, your knowledge that you share with us in such a wonderful manner makes is a treat to us all ( sorry Editing…. I am fumbling away here as I am trying to post this on my phone with other things going on 🤣).

Well, after a very busy Saturday with my Wife and daughter, on the thin line between the ending of our Saturday and the beginning of Sunday I listened to the latest episode with Charlie as the guest, it was exactly as I was expecting it to be - just awesome!

I am positive that Charlie could very easily be involved with many episodes with The Catch Bit Show.

Listening to Neal, Jason, Mike with Charlie as a guest the episode just flowed naturally and I found it to be extremely interesting with Charlie taking us down just some of the Roads that he had paved with the reawakening of the Harness Jack and the TC Brand.

The following Harness Jack episode is something I simply cannot wait for!

For me with the HJ’s being my favourite without a doubt and the support from Charlie over the years has been such an amazing journey, it’s been a pretty special ride having met some wonderful people around the World whom I do not hesitate to call friends.
For a guy who couldn’t live further away from any real knife community or where there is any form of depth in the history of Cutlery firms or of course the well known Knife shows, here in New Zealand - it’s so good to slip on my earphones and listen to this show.

Thank you Gentlemen, keep up the great work and I’m always looking forward to hearing more. 👍

Dave ^^ ( know-tracks ) would be an amazing person to hear his journey, I’m proud to call him my friend - he is a great Human being and I look up to him in the Knife World.

A note to Charlie - you mention in the Podcast the bone colour of the HJ1 from Queen - my friend I think my HJ1’s are absolutely spectacular in Bone colour and the final result of your first adventure was a stunning outcome - so well done!
Going back to Dave - he helped me into my first of the HJ1’s which is a very warm and always a thankful memory to me 😊👍

Thanks Duncan! I too, think they are great individually!! The four options didn't have enough distinction - a small complaint on my part!! I wanted all four to be very separate in color!! I agree though, the knife turned out great!
I shouldn't complain - Clarence helped get my foot in the door with Bill!!

Hear, Hear!!! Words from the Wise!!
It's nice to see "likes", but way nicer to see "quoted"!!
Comments and opinions are always read, and always appreciated!!

Spent the afternoon inspecting and oiling the joints on my Keen Kutters, and listening to The Catchbit Show podcasts. It was great to hear the voices of Charlie and Neal, engaging in a very interesting discussion.
Looking forward to hearing Charlie's next appearance and a further discussion of harness jacks.

Thanks so much, Duncan, Dave, Jack, Charlie, and Dan. All good friends who I've had the great privilege of meeting in person.
And thanks fishin1635 and others who have posted here as well. It would certainly be a honor to meet more members in the future.
Charlie's first episode was wonderful and we can't wait for the follow up. We've been fortunate to have had a few forum members on the show (Evan and Stephane) and hope to have more.
Thanks again to everyone for your support.

especially the Washington Punch.
Ralph, the original patent for this punch was awarded to J.E.Cooper in 1905!
It was held by the Robeson cutlery company, and proved to be very effective, and was eventually used by many companies, even Case for a while!!Washington punch.jpg
The patents were typically good for 17 years, so are long out of date!! Bill did a great job on this punch!!!

Thanks to everyone involved in bringing this to the public. Being basically a noob to these deep, deep realms of the knife world, I just had to listen to the episode with Charlie first. I've always been captivated by the Barlow knife and in my opinion, those TCs are simply the best any company has ever put together. Thanks to you guys, all those around me get to hear more babbling about knives!

Nevermind I found it on the podcast app, whouda thunk it??? Looking forward to it!

Charlie Campagna, Episode 23 Harness Jacks.

Well, I can guarantee you I will listen to this many, many times.
Neal, Mike and Jason with Charlie had me glued to this hungry for every word.

Charlie’s and Neal’s research has to be respected in the highest level, it was informative - there was digging deep into the past- both Charlie and Neal with their fantastic knowledge sharing and discussing with Mike and Jason the different patterns and quizzing over just exactly when these Harness Knives come out.
Charlie’s experiences and memories meetings and discussions with Bill and the actual difficulties in the production of the Punch - listening to Charlie’s stories with he and Bill is just fascinating !!

I’m excited to continue in a more serious manner than what I have in the past years with the Harness Jacks - especially in the Ephemera side of things.

Charlie - thank you for being such a great guest- you have that magic ability to capture the enthusiasts attention and to inspire us all greatly.
This too goes out to Neal, Jason and Mike, Gentlemen- please whatever you do, just keep being yourselves and please keep this Podcast up 😊👍👍
