Police Outfitters BEWARE

I really hate to see guys like Mike AKA Knifeman7 get screwed. Every single time I've delt with Mike, he has went out of his way to make me happy.
 
Every dealing that I have had with Knifeman7 has been smooth as silk, He has proven to be a man of his word. After hearing of Mike's experience with Mario, I certainly won't do any business with Policeoutfitters.

Really sorry to learned that Mike'd been screwed, as I also had a number of deals with him in the past few months, all but smooth deal.

Maybe, if the official GOOD GUY list is not possibal, as Ira suggested earlier, the official BAD GUY list is? (Or maybe the guy in BIG DOUBT.)

Mario is going to be A PLEASURE and an HONOR.

Mike is far too decent a human being to be treated this way. And, we all KNOW this is NOT over the Money.

Mario is another person who has no clue how to spell and live with honesty and INTEGRITY.

THANKS TO ALL THE GUYS WHO HAVE SUPPORTED ME IN THIS MATTER! LET ME ASSURE ALL INCLUDING MARIO, THAT I DO NOT INTEND TO DROP THIS ISSUE. IF POLICEOUTFITTERS HAD SIMPLY RETURNED THE $111. THAT IS STILL OWING, THE STORY WOULD HAVE ENDED HAPPILY MANY DAYS AGO, HOEVER MARIO PLAYED THE 'NO RESPONSE' GAME AND IT ALL LEAD TO THIS. IRONIC AS IT MAY SEEM, THE KNIFE WAS A GIFT FOR MY SON WHO IS A POLICE OFFICER HERE IN CANADA AND I'M SURE THOSE GUYS TALK SO MORE BAD NEWS, MARIO. YOU BURNT THE GUYS WHO TRUSTED YOU! That's the best thing to do Mike. Let everyone you can, know about what has happened to you. Tell them to tell any of their friends that might be interested in buying something from Mario. It is amazing how much damage word of mouth can do. You can be sure neither I nor anyone that I know will buy anything from Police Outfitters.
 
Well, today is the day Mario has stated that a refund or knife would be sent. I chose refund and we will see what, if anything materializes. I will keep all advised. Thank You. mike:rolleyes:
 
I sent Mario an email today and stated that he should work this out to the satisfaction of Mike, his customer. I let him know that in my opinion refunding $111.00 was a whole lot better than getting a bad name in the knife community. Maybe it will do some good, and maybe he had already sent the refund (or knife). I sure hope so. Good luck Mike.
 
Thanks Keith, I appreciate what you have done for me and any other knife guy who might have ended up in the same mess. Hope your email gets a response as I would like to see this matter closed but as of know, he has my money and I have no knife. That is "both sides of the story! Again, Thank You.. Mike:(

Mario sent me an email stating that I should not be so quick to jump to conclusions based on hearing just one side of the story. he did not however state his position. I emailed him back that I would be glad to listen to his side and to email me back and let me know if he has kept his promise to send a knife to Mike or if failing this sent him a refund. He has not gotten back to me. Why am I not surprised.

Mario promised me that you shall be mailed a FULL REFUNDand an APOLOGY to hit the mailbox no later than MONDAY.

At first he did what they all do, blamed the other party and said he MIGHT respond if he felt like it. Between KEITH and I, Mario now understands that it's in his best interests if he wants to continue in the "POLICE EQUIPMENT" Business to pay you ASAP, and also visit BFC and offer up a public apology, and try this again.

Keith, he certainly did not appreciate your "advice", but I know, as a member of BF, THAT I DID!!!!!!! Thanks Buddy;) ;)

Now, lets see if Mario steps up to the plate and eats his LUNCH............Ira;) :p :p :p :)
 
Hi All; Got a nice meessage from Mario this AM and he indicated that a refund would be sent and that in fact he had problems finding me a knife although he has one know. He did offer an apology and I in return I told him that once the refund arrived I would lay off and advise that he is not as bad as I once thought. I hope that is meeting him half way as it was never my intent to ruin his business and I hope now he keeps his promise. Thank you All! Mike
 
Keith "KWM", was very instrumental in getting Mario to understand some very important "traits" that knifeknutts have, and the simplicity of shooting onself in the foot and then inserting that injured foot DEEPLY up one's Butt. Looks like Keith is now an Official member of the BFC Police Department;) ;)
MY part was just some application of very slight Pressure and persuasion:eek: :eek:
THE MOST important business move on Mario's part, DBA: PoliceOutfitters.com is his registration to BFC and his open apology to you.
I believe he never intended to scam you. He simply runs a "middle-man" operation with no stock and if he intends to deal with Police administrators and Governmental Purchasing folks, the key is his reputation. The field is packed solid with Good Folks (Gall's, Streichers) and Mario certainly agreed that he did not want to become a MINI-BOTACH
Mario also found how small the world really is, and how big and close-knit the knife community really is. He is quite impressed and surprised that so many reached out and "touched him" (Keith roughing him up slightly...LOL...just kidding). I hope he follows through with the post here on BF. I have no doubt Mike will see his money. While I suggested he ALSO ship the knife, I doubt Mario has enough profit at this point to send a free Tuff-cloth!!!!
Mike, let us know when you get the mail, AND Mike....Your son Brent has got a GREAT Teacher in learning the importance of integrity, honesty, and compassion; YOU....Ira:)
 
I received a very politely written email from Mario astating that he was refunding Mike's money and that it was not the end of the world to end up with an extra Emerson knife. I am sure Mario will have no trouble selling it. At no time did Mario ever answer one of my emails with anger or abusive language. Once Mike has received his refund I will have gained a much higher respect for Mario. I hope that he would have done this on his own, but if I was of any assistance in this that is great. It was a pleasure to help Mike as much as I could. I think Ira played a much bigger part than he lets on.
