Ok, so this will run for another 5 days, basically gunna decide what pattern will be chosen for the month of July, I will not add stockman and peanut because these have already been done and I think a few more should pass before another month dedicated to these guys.

Edit: If I have forgotten a pattern please post a comment or such, I'll update it pretty regularly.

Edited Edit: I can't seem to be able to edit the poll to add options for other patterns like whittler etc, I suppose "Generic . . . ." will have to fill in for those spots . . ..

It should be something you would want in your pocket on the 4th of July, something good at the backyard barbecue, fishing at the lake, fireworks, something that says summer.
 
Mayb a pattern that doesn't get much recognition on here. Like canoes, copperheads, congress. Mayb it will open sum new experiences.

I was thinking of the less popular patterns: Tuxedo, Sleeveboard, Copperhead, Center-swell Jack, Teardrop Jack, Sway-back jack, etc. Basically polls on vbulletin can only have up to 20 options, but I figured there are far more pattern types then that so I added the "Generic . . . ." to cover those options, or add/edit the poll as needed if one particular type was more popular.

I was thinking of generic patterns not company specific, if it were company specific it would be rather limiting, I mean what if someone just said GEC White Owl? would sleebeboards count? so whatever the pattern is/can be justified as is/are allowed. so for your example the Texas jack would be under Serpentine jack
 
I was just meaning like production knives in general. I thought u meant like customs. I know what u mean now tho. Thanks

I had to vote for the camper, after all it is camping season! At least in N. America, maybe not so much for our friends in the Southern Hemisphere though ;)

I know I said whittler, but I ended up casting the first vote for the camper, after all, it was the first knife I ever owned, got it for my sixth birthday with a fishing pole, and I still have it. It conjures up all sorts of childhood memories, like when summer seemed to last forever, going froging, fishing, sticks for hotdogs, toasting marshmallows, running around in the woods.
 
I'm interested in trying out the Barlow. Recently recovered one from my fathers belongings and would love the opportunity to be held accountable for using it for a solid month! No cheating!
