I voted for the Toothpick. I don´t have one right now, but I´m a little interessted in that pattern. So I think, that would be a nice addition to my little collection :)

Kind regards

ummmmm I guess it will be a Barlow Month....and I love it !
Too bad I do not Own any to show...
I will enjoy the July month pictures....
I know someone here has and SPECIAL GEC for july 4th...let's wait and see...

Since my only barlow is away being rescaled, and will not be home until mid August, this gives me the freedom to return to my regular rotation.

I can already hear the shout of approval from my peanut, pen, and mini copperhead!

And I can finally get some regular pocket time for my Father's Day gift, the Queen Dan Burke Half Whittler.

With the vote so close for Trapper, might we want to declare it the pattern for August...?

Just a thought, to simplify things a little.

Not a plug-- I have tiny and mini Case trappers, courtesy of da Blue, but they don't excite me otherwise.

Maybe I'll feel otherwise after Trapper Month, whenever it may fall. 'Cause we all know it's coming....

Trapper Month, whenever it may fall. 'Cause we all know it's coming....

I do have a CV slimline trapper from 1998 that still has shiny steel. Trapper month would be a good excuse to use it in place of my Ben Hogan for food prep to begin developing a patina. But it is a bit too long to pocket daily.

I have been tempted by the mini trapper, especially the single blade wharncliffe. . . . Hmmm.

Dangerous, this place is!

Any recommendations for a current production barlow in stainless? Not finding a lot of options out there, despite having been on the hunt for a few days now. Great pattern and looking forward to one.

I don`t know... the only Barlows that I like (handle material and design wise) are Rough Riders and the Schrade 280 OT I have. I can`t find a GEC Barlow, and the regular #25s are not to my liking at all.

edit: ahh heck I just bought a yellow RR Barlow. I just hope its better than the horrible 280OT.

SOD-BUSTERS ALL THE WAY PEOPLE!
4th of July. Parties. You want a knife that isn't crazy expensive so you're not scared to use it, one blade=no deciding to do, and it's strong......

This Boker Bonsai has 440A, and it takes a nice edge and performs quite well...and it's affordable ;)

Thanks for sharing your recommendation, sitflyer. That is a nice looking barlow you have there.
