How much would you be willing to pay for a CPK obstacle course style cutting competition blade?

All I can say, is HOORAY!!!! Thanks for the clarity on this, Nathan. While everyone in this thread was thinking "gimme a bigass blade", I was still ruminating on one which is mucho smaller...:D:D

EDIT: and now I'm beginning to like that big badass blade you all have been discussing, even quite a bit more.

Interesting:eek:Looks like some of the CPK Forum members have developed the (Busse Hog Treachery tactics) I LOVE IT:pPlayed it for years! Missed it so much I just had to pick me of a couple of the recently offered Busse "Forsaken Steel Hearts" Count me in;) Nice UF Blanks

Having collected both long and short blades over a lengthy period of time, I think it's important that people who might be new to blades realize that larger, two handed blades (wakizashi, katana or any lengthy blade over 12" to 14") do not do well upon resale - as a general rule - because there is a smaller population of potential buyers than there are for less lengthy blades. It is that issue that causes me to use a lower price point in such a poll....

I had to change my "How much I would Pay amount"to reflect the UF Offering:thumbsup::rolleyes:
EDIT: I Only need 1 of these, so a single edge would compliment the Double Edge i presently Have:thumbsup: Hope everybody who wants one of these,(Utility Fighters)
has a chance to purchase one:cool:

Might as well just keep making layers of UFs while you're waiting for an oven :D
I'm imagining the drop, "There are 100 Utility Fighters available in this sale..."
Heads explode, forum goes apeshit, mere anarchy is loosed upon the world etc.

I voted $900. Why?

That seems like my personal limit for my selfish expenditures that do not benefit my entire family. Not only for knives, but almost all hobbies and their accompanying costs.

Be it music equipment, truck mods, tools/shop equipment, knives, guns, SAR/outdoor gear, cameras, computers/electronics etc. I don't think there is any SINGLE purchase that I've made that has broken $1000 mark, and I would be reluctant to spend that on (another) knife.
