Im simply appalled by the decision. Im currently disheartened to do much else at this point. Did he even read the entire thread and its good intentions? Its ok if other companies can have a club and be guilty of questionable things, but we cant even discuss openly for our own club? We have no control over what everyone wants to say in a thread, there was opposition, such as in every discussion. Its a privately owned forum so it is what is.

lets just see what happens in the morning. I think it's to early to give up.
Please guys?

That was my thoughts, I felt that the situation was handled properly and we carried on with our discussion afterwards. However I do not have any authority in this particular forum so I have no say in how things are carried out. The best we can do is to continue our discussion and not let this ruin what good we have going. If the mods or what have you have an issue with the community creating an enthusiast group that is against elitism and all forms of bad doings, Then speak up and we will cease to continue our efforts. If not then I say lets just continue where we left off eh? Start fresh with a new thread, and if anyone antagonizes then just ignore it and don't feed the trolls so to speak.

The writing's on the wall. Either way Im stepping back a few feet. I put alot of effort on that thread. Meanwhile in other subforums...

A few moments of bickering shouldn't ruin the party for the rest of us. Granted, we never heard from Sal about it, but this sure isn't helping our case...

I say if Esav says we can start a new thread it's a good idea. See every one in the morning.
Cheers!

When things settle down, we need to get one thing straight, respect is PARAMOUNT on bladeforums with or without a club. I repeated that sentiment over and over again. Now that we have an idea of the repercussions for going off course, I hope we all learned a valuable lesson.

"The Spyderweb" -- because we're all connected by Spyderco knives :)

Otherwise I'd go with Spyderco Syndicate
