POLL:WHAT LINER LOCK HAS THE STRONGEST LOCK???

From Ivan: 6-30-99 145PM EDT On the subject of the Cuda, the liner lock just slipped off the blade tang when doing the test on it. None of my other knives with the liner lock system have done this. Some knife people have told me the liner lock is not sturdy enough for the big heavy Cuda blade. What do you think?

Jeff, I could not have a higher opinion of Buck knives if you go through with the above and make the results known.

All, I'l be making the list up shortly.
I'll start a thread in the Buck section, and feel free to list any model (lockback or liner lock) you would like to see tested.
I'll post the final listing as soon as we have it.

REKAT's upcoming Sifu, now in prototype stage, is like a big brother to the Carnivour. In fact, I think it's merely a larger version of the same knife. But REKAT is putting together an EVEN STRONGER ROLLING LOCK to accomadate the very large blade on this knife. I am excited and waiting for it to be released, though I hear it's going to be quite a while. For now, I'm trying to figure out which Simonich I like best. Definetly a Talonite.

Merely a larger Carnivour? The Sifu? The pics I saw had a really wild blade shape and six finger grooves for either shifting your grip or if you are a freakish mutant. Blade length was to be 5.4" if I recall correctly. Does someone have new pics?
