Yup this is the exact email I have. Let's see if he has the courage to email me now highly doubt it from a thief of his caliber. I am really REALLY surprised he emailed you!

I had three knives go missing in trade in Washington close to Eric's area a couple of years ago and he had offered to help by driving by to confirm the guy i had traded with lived at the address I had been given.

Since being made aware of this thread by Pellel2 I've wondered if it was Eric using an alias or a buddy of his that had scammed me as this sounds too familiar...

I could be way off base and making assumptions but all I know is I'm out three knives that I was never able to get compensation for. :thumbdn::thumbdn::thumbdn::(

I think I may have run across a thread of yours about that a while back. It does seem like it could be suspect, but it's hard to tell.
 
I have traded with, and kept in touch with eafisher for a while up until late 2014. He was a straight shooter with me though. He did fall on hard times there for a bit though when he lost his job. I haven't talked to him in over a year.

I'm afraid a "straight shooter" does not start stealing from people when times get a "bit tough". Sounds more like a thief that just hasn't been "caught" yet. Many crooks deliver just enough legit goods to keep others on the line...Until things catch up with them.
 
Was just saying that he hadn't burned me personally. He did break contact at the time I mentioned he did though. I guess I was the lucky one.

Yep, and also being a straight shooter has to be all of the time not some of the time. Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is looking. It also means when times get tough we still uphold our Morales, principles,honesty:aka integrity.

I wasn't denying what he did to you guys. I was only saying he didn't screw me over. Like I said.... I must have been the lucky one.
