Poor craftsmanship from CKS

I am returning two 110's from the Buck custom knife shop due to poor craftsmanship on the G10 handles. I guess it's hard to work with G10 or maybe someone had a hard night, I don't know but I don't think anyone had a good look at these knives before putting them in a box.

Sending back my faulty Marksman also.

Anyone have good luck with sending CKS knives back?

It can happen, even from there. But they will fix it and make it right. Not fun to wait longer, but worth it in the end.

I'm sorry, I don't get it. OP complains about quality of knives. Does not include pics. OP is in no hurry to get knives. He comes onto the Buck forum to complain about issues that have not yet been taken or resolved. We all know that mistakes happen, it is how those mistakes are resolved that shows the integrity of the service and company. Also, pics or it didn't happen.

Also posted he was carrying a custom shop 110 with G10 and nickel back on July 5th no mention of any issues. Problems do happen but when someone shows up and nearly every post is negative but provides little or no details and no photos it just seems a bit suspicious.

A suspicion that could be completely allayed with just a few photos and detail from the OP. Without those photos and details I believe we're getting played.

I'm in agreement with you, always a complaint from the OP but never a picture. This has happened more than once with this OP...

OP's posts are highly suspect. In another thread he posts that he damaged his Marksman , using it defensively during an animal attack. Nothing to prove his allegations has been forthcoming.

It doesn't bode well when a new member has 15 posts, and the majority are negative comments about a reputable company.

OP should know to bring more to the table if wants complain about Buck on the Buck forum. Hopefully he will learn this. Pictures really are worth a million words.

I personally don't care to see pictures of mistakes. But if the intention is to ride him until he submits, well I don't care for that either.

Want pictures of G10 gone wrong? Here ya go.

I don't think anyone is riding him. Like what has been said, I have read numerous complaints from the OP from probably every Buck knife he's owned not once has he shown pictures or even properly described the damage. We want to see so we know what to look for not to make him prove what he is saying, a little proof would be nice though....Even if he stated he sent it back to Buck and what the end result was....

With the pics shown, I'll go check my fox out and see if it's the same way.

I do hope he follows up with how well things turned out for him in the end. Hoping for the best! :) Growing Buck nuts ain't always easy. :D

It happens. I got a 501 from the custom shop with a ton of blade play. Talked to Buck and sent it in. They fixed it and now I have a perfect 501. Was I disappointed, sure....was it the end of the world, no. The 110 and 112 I got from the CS were perfect right off the bat.
