Pork Loin for the Fourth, Becker Style

I'll just have mine with a side of apple sauce please. Looking lovely sir.

I've used that exact same process for burgers since I was 13, I can't believe I've never tried it on a pork loin!

Pulled it, wrapped it in foil, and letting it rest a bit while I grill some chicken.

Man, that looks GOOD!! So what are the ingredients on the board in the first pic?

Garlic, thyme, lemon (for zest). I added a little bit of lemon balm to E's recommendations.

I watched a Good Eats episode the other day in which Alton Brown made a similar pork loin, by the looks of it. Wish I was barbecueing!

Chicken's finishing up. Time to pop a Yazoo and mentally prepare myself to cut the pork loin.

Guyon,

That's magnificent. Thanks for sharing.

My brisket is in foil, waiting. I'm so hungry after seeing the pork loin photos....:p

Who's got a cigarette? I just had multiple porkgasms.
Lunch was pork, chicken, speckled butter beans, fried squash, and corn on the cob.
I've switched to Pale Ale now and am waiting for my food to settle before I sample some banana pudding.
Thanks for taking this Pork Loin Odyssey with me. Happy fourth to you and yours!

Ahh the sweet memories of the MOAPL[SUP]TM[/SUP]...
Sometimes I wake up in a cold sweat after dreaming of that porky superstar.
