A long read& I'm not a writer so please excuse me in advance
Good morning BF's members ,
I am writing this post because I really do not want to see someone get ripped off.
As you know ,I have decided to ,and added ,Sanelli Premana Professional kitchen cutlery to the knives I want to offer for sale. Now I say it in that way ,because I do not have to do this . But roughly a year ago ,when I discovered them,I was pleasantly surprised of the quality,design and material,and very important ,the performance . I do not have to sell these knives in order to survive financially . I do profit of course but more important to me is to know I have supplied a knife or knives to someone who also may have not known of these wonderful & affordable kitchen knives. They are in my opinion ,very superior to many others in their class. As a former chef ,and life long knife user ,I say that with confidence.
Recently ,a good friend & customer here ,brought to my attention ,what I feel is a serious and negative message about this Sanelli Co. and the production of . So I contacted the company and was assured of my suspicions .
Here is the possible Fraud : Sanelli USA
If you were to search and find this website ,I will say ,they are only a dealer ( iI was told , in the past ,and not currently supplied by Sanelli ) . They are not the company in Italy ,only a purveyor . There is also another company called Sanelli Ambrosio. Again,that company is not Coltellerie Sanelli ,in Premana Italy .

So ,my customer says to me ," How it it impact you that Sanelli USA is quitting business ? " . I know of this company and that they stated they were going out of business and moving back to Italy . Discounting their inventory greatly .
But I went and looked again ,just to keep an eye out on the subject. To my surprise ,new messages were on the main page of the website :
And within the week it changed to this :
This is false info ,and very negative.
I spoke with the head of sales at Sanelli in Italy . With permission to show the reply ,here is the info direct from Italy ,Sanelli :

2) All our products are, and will continue to be, designed and manufactured in Premana, in full compliance with our quality standards and long-standing manufacturing tradition.
3) To support our business growth and ensure greater production capacity, we have recently added a new production facility located just a few kilometers from Premana, in Cortenova (LC).
4) There is no closure of the company: On the contrary, we are investing in our future to strengthen our presence in the market.
Some statements made by third parties have caused confusion in the market. We would like to reassure all our partners and customers that production continues as normal and that our commitment to quality, innovation, and Made in Italy excellence remains unchanged.
