"Possible" Stuff at the Spyderco Booth

Yep! That patent link is the S-shaped throwing thing!

And the deep relief handles are cast metal overlays. I'll post a picture I took by permission from Guy Rafaeli, who owns them, after I find time to copy it from my floppy disk, crop it, and get it uploaded to the Net.

I can't find the pictures of the Spyderco "S" on that patent site. I'll keep looking.

The "S" shaped throwing knife was developed some time ago. It's "stick every time" blade. We are currently developing a thrower (atatl type) for it. We plan to offer it to another company for production and sale. I see the set as 3 blades and the thrower in a sheath.

Thanks James! I'm looking forward to the pictures. Your pictures along with your and Dexter's reports from the show are just great! Thanks to you guys we get all the news immadiately - it's almost as good as going to the show. And to think that the shows are usually a bit far from Finland, it's about the only way for us here.

BTW I had seen that patent already long before. I always thought that was a bit too 'wild' for Spyderco and that they would probably never do anything about it...

Hugo.
