well i finely buckled down and finished my post anvil tonight. now it actually looks like an anvil
I spiked me in the nuts a few times tonight so i think i need to jam a tennis ball on the end. any way, the horn and heal are both hardened as well as the face. there is a weld joint between the heel and face that is not hardened but thats OK. i am so excited to get it back to my shop and start making stuff. I also made a bending block (bending fork). it has 4 holes that the pins slip into. having the 4 holes gives me lots of size options. i have .25, .375, .5 , .666 , .75 and 1". this way i can bend most any size. next up will be a cut off tool as well as some drawing tools. the possibility's are endless. i would like a spike to make holes as well. well enough talk here is the pictures. o and i can barley move it now
which is a good thing

this is a little video i made showing the anvil
