Good day,

The post apocalyptic barbed wire damascus knife presented earlier now has a big brother :)
I have attached additional in the making w.i.p. pictures, because I heard that some of you folks like these kind of stuff.
The blade has been forged of old barbed wire, two thin layers of L6 and a thick 5160 core.
The knife's total length is 29,5 cm, the blade is 17 cm long, 36 mm wide and 5 mm thick. So it is bigger and longer than the first one :D .
I made the handle from the same components as the other one: antler and leather.
Used the same natural veg tanned thick leather for the sheath with hemp rope to make it more "authentic" (if there is such a thing, speaking of post apocalypse?! :) and with an extra beaten up look to make it appear more rugged.

Its price is 220 USD. Paypal is accepted ;)

Sold!

Hellize, you've got to get the attention of the production company down here that shoots The Walking Dead and get one of your knives like this one featured on the show! That is a perfect looking zombie killer! Imagine Daryl Dixon having that as a proud back up to his beloved crossbow? Yes sir, you've done it again and I do appreciate you posting the photos, it gives a novice like me a chance to learn what goes into your knife crafting and making process. Awesome Hellize.

Sorry about that TK, my apologies to you and Hellize both.

Hi,

Don't know what happened to me the other day, but suddenly I found myself on the 63th page of one of my wife's esotery books. Sometime mysterious things happen, when sitting on the iron throne (WC :pirate: ) I usually don't believe in spiritual things like reincarnation, wandering spirits or any kind of supernatural stuff, but at least it gave me a good idea :D
So, I made the Jin Jang - in damascus of course! ;)

Unfortunately I don't have fancy stuff like Ebony and Ivory, so I used what I found in the shop.
Both are 20 cm long with 9.5 cm long blades. The blades are forged of the same 60 layered damascus bilet of 5160 and 1.2516 tool steels.
The handles are made of dark walnut and stripped maple, with a little bit of antler.

The price for the set is 320 USD, paypal is ok ;)

And now, behold the pictures!
