Post apocalyptic barbed wire damascus

Hellize. I will take the large one...it will be perfect for our feral zombie moose.

Nice catch Burnsy. Blade, handle, sheath fit each other really well.
Calling seconds ... Just in case

I have a soft spot for primitive stuff. I love the looks of these knives. All primal and ready....sweet.

Dammit. That bobed wire knife just blows my mind! And yes, it's bobed wire. I was born in southern WV. :)
Will it ever have a sister or a brother? (watch the incest jokes...I've heard them all)

That post-apocalyptic knife is one of the coolest knives I've seen.

Bet if you made no other models, you would sell every one you could make.

Very, very nice!

Not a critique in any way.... Gorgeous work! BUT! Man oh man if that barbed wire were full tang! I'd be Scratchin' and a clawin' like a fat woman in Walmart at Christmas time for a tickle me Elmo! Just sayin'!

Well, I am not sure about that ;)
It is fun to make it, that's for sure. But to make only this for the rest of my life? Nonononono :D

Hahaha! :D
Ufortunately full tang with this kind of handle is not possible. :o

This post apocalyptic barbed wire damascus beauty is now mine and will be forevermore! I was mesmerized by the knife and the photos showing its journey from steel and barbed wire (oops, I mean bob-wire) to the formidable zombie killer it now is. Deer season starts tomorrow and this baby will be going into the woods with me. Thanks, Hellize, for making this beautiful knife. I've got a blacksmith knife with a twisted handle on the way from you that I'm excited to receive as well and I'm sure this is just the beginning of my awesome Transylvania cutlery collection.

Hmm... I'm curious how did it end up at you, if I might ask? :) I thought I sent it to Canada.
Btw, you are very fortunate. I would give a leg to go on deer hunting, but the arms regulations are so tight here, that they would never give me hunting licence. :(

It did come from Canada. The original Canadian buyer is an aspiring knifemaker and bought a few blades that he admired and studied and measured them and I was fortunate enough to catch this one when he released it.

I started hunting with my father when I was 8 years old and where I live there is a deep tradition and long history of hunting and responsible gun ownership. I sometimes forget how fortunate I am to be able to do this. Thank you for the reminder!

Hmm...very interesting! My blades very studied and measured by another maker?! I didn't expected this

Yeah, you really are fortunate. Even bows are denied here. I can only use them in my own backyard :( But hunting with them are a big "no no"
