Post Holiday Clearance thread for Walmart 2007 holiday tins

Hi guys, I do not see a thread for post holiday markdown/clearance sightings of the 2007 Buck 110 Collectors tin's, so here we go! I was in my local Walmart tonight (Lexington, SC) and was not even looking for any knives, but ran across an end cap in sporting goods with four of the Collector tins marked down to $21.00 each. I bought all four. None of the 3 knife China sets left. The Gerber China sets (two bone stag knives) were marked down to $19.00 from the original $25.00, but I did not buy any of those.

So you might want to start checking your Walmarts, the clearance season apparently has started.:)
 
On Christmas eve ONE customer bought the last 12 tins.......At 30.00.... No clearance for us......
 
I've never seen them in the Walmarts here in CT. I've read about some incredible buys to be had but not around here! Local pressure has caused Walmart to stop selling guns and now they have one small case with ammo and the knives are in molded plastic packages hung on wire racks. A few models of Bucks and other imported low end knives. The most expensive models are the Leatherman Wave!

The Walmart near me never did get them. The one in Decatur, IL sold out a few days before Christmas.
 
We were near the Gardendale, AL store anyway, yesterday - and I wanted to check the stock of their Ruger 22" 10/22 rifles - they had one, expected more next week (Yes, they still sell firearms!). I noted a 'Collector Tin 110' by the checkout in Sporting Goods - $21! The salesgirl said they had had a shelf full - but, sadly, it had other goodies then. At least I got one reduced! My son will be 38 soon - a perfect gift, although I did give him the version from two years back - and he doesn't recall what happened to it (Probably a re-gift to his f-i-l!). Maybe gluttony will overcome me... I need one to 'keep' - and one to 'use'.

Same thing at the Wallys in MA... I guess guns and knives are getting less and less politically correct.
 
Took a quick stop at a WALMART in Montgomeryville PA rte 309 N and had to take a look at the sporting goods, they had some and yep $21.00 each.

kweishuhn, I was indeed passing through the town yesterday when I stopped in the WALMART in Montgomeryville, I actually live about 60 miles away from that store, I will certainly keep my eyes open and will pick some up if I see them, how many would you want if I see them?

Rusty, I would be glad to get anywhere from 6 to10, lots of friends and family here who like them. I have good references and will cover the bill. I am in texas and found out yesterday there are none around for 150 miles. At least that is what w/m told me. Last year everyone had em stacked up after christmas. Thanks for your reply.

Because at their annual shareholders meeting, they voted to try to screw all of us Cyber Buck lovers who are trying to get as many Bucks for as close to free as possible?
 
My wm had 6 110s left on Friday for 21.00 also. I might be arm twisted into getting some or whats left for someone if you find it necessary. Shipping from E.Okla......300$s
