Post pics of your custom buck 110

You can carry knives in your checked luggage. I've flown the the Philippines with several as gifts and no problem. The issue is the risk of having your luggage lost.

I just can't possibly even fathom that thought. The will to live would be gone! Hahaha.:D
Yeah. I'm fortunate to only live about 2 1/2 hours away by car from Post Falls. I told Larry Oden that I would help coordinate the anniversary since I'm so close.

Everybody would have to drive there. The NTSA confiscated knives for sale listings would be quite extensive on eBay the following week otherwise. LOL.:)
pardon the intruding me...
a possible alternative would be to fed x or ups to Joe at buck, with lots of insurance, the knives and have your display checked as luggage..

Could you only imagine if everbody did this. Just try to visualize the pile of boxes that would inundate the Buck factory. And then everybody would have to go there to pick them up. It would be like feeding time at the zoo.
Yeah, ship them all to the warranty department so they're all nice and clean and sharp for the anniversary. :D

I'll spin your head a little bit more. The 1992 and 1993 black 560s have 425M steel. The 1994 black 560 has 420HC steel, and is the last year of the smooth(titanium nitride) finish. The 1995 through 1998 have the rougher(powder coated) finish and are bladed with 420HC. So to be technical, you can have two steel types in the smooth finish, and one in the textured finish.

Are ya dizzy yet?

How about this combination: I just received a black 560. It has a powder coated handle and blade, and "560 /" date mark. So, that would mean a 1995-1998 handle and a 1993 blade having a 1995-1998 coating. 425M or 420HC?

No, I meant the whole knife! I have a silver 560 with a BG-42 blade; I wanted to see the overall knife, what edges the grip has, whether the holes are beveled, etc... ;)
