Post pics of your Swamp Warden Wraps....

RF: I really like how you did yours. It leaves more of a front/finger guard. I like that. Is there a name for that type of wrap? I want to try that one out.

Thanks! There might be a name, but I don't know what it might be called. it might have to be changed a bit once I get a kydex sheath.

I may re-wrap this so that the sinnet is an extension of the handle wrap. Of course I'd have to reverse the colors in the sinnet. When I have time.

I left the lower part of the handle free so as to provide more of a front guard. And I am hoping there is enough room so as not to get in the way of a kydex sheath. Nothing fancy but it feels nice! :)

The knife is very nice. Where can I buy that knife? Please let me know. I would love to get one if it is not too expensive.

I love my Swarden's. I would have loved a black one though. Hopefully there is someone out there who will trade for a Muddy?

Eric your kid does great work on the lanyards! I was really impressed with the little ones that came with all the knives. It is a really nice touch. I learned how to do them but not nearly as good.

A tip I shared before and is working for me until my OST sheaths show up is the 2AA maglight sheaths fit the Swarden almost perfect. It isn't perfect but at least you can carry your Swarden.

RF that is a amazing wrap job.

Nice wrap Tyr. Can you throw together a little tutorial on this one for the wrapping-challenged? Much appreciated. I like all of the work shown in this thread. Great concepts.

You bet! I think Eric and RF are much better at this. This was my first. But I'll show you what I did. I just need to finish up my "Honey Do" list. :D

Sweet. Can't wait to see it. I like them all, but I prefer your's as it leaves the front open for sheathing.

I tried a couple of Ran Finkenstein's wraps. I like it!

Here is my first attempt at cord wrapping.

I like the way Rat did his. I'm going to have to give that a try when the other one comes back from Okuden.

jgkelly - when I sent a SW off to Okuden for sheaths I quickly wrapped it so the sheath would still fit with the cord wrap. If you need one contact him quickly as I know he is wrapping up his current run of SW sheaths and will be sending mine back any day now.

simply a kick ass picture... thats all there is to it. the blaze orange goes well with the olive drab.

I just got some really good looking camo paracord from County Comm, now just need to see the Wardens back at the Rat store and I'll be set.

I was going to tell RF what a great job he did but as I rolled down the thread I must say all of you have done a great job and given me many ideas as to what kind of wrap is for me.

My first time wrapping a handle with paracord so I thought I would try something a little different... I made a leather insert for the handlle, then drilled 15 holes, 5mm apart in the insert with my dremel press. I used gutted paracord.

Now to see how well it holds up...

I really like that!
How did you shape the leather to fit in the space before you started drilling?

Anyway, it looks great. I'd be curious to know how it does over the long run...
