Traded with him, he said that he bought both knives off blade hq, but found out that he got both the knives off the forum used and listed one of them bnib. Wont ever do bis. With him ever agian

First of all. I feel like you should have come to me first before making this thread. I have over 40 positive transactions on this forum, and many can attest to my integrity. I did make a mistake in saying the mini commander was from Blade HQ. I ordered alot of knives recently and mixed that up with ones I had received from the HQ. The 350 was never advertised as new. In my for trade thread it clearly states it was carried, but never sharpened or cut anything more than paper. I sent you an email about how you want to proceed in making this right. No need to make a thread about it unless a resolution could not be made.

How is the condition of the actual knives though? Do they look used or are you just upset that he didn't get them from blade hq?
 
To the OP, did you talk with xICEMANx before starting this thread??? I think we have another example of jumping the gun/shark in this thread.........
 
I knew the 0350 was used, but he said the commander was nib. Come to find out he bought it off somebody else and it has been resharp., so not new.
 
You guys probably wouldnt be happy if you where in my shoes. I dont like to be lied to

Ok, fine. But did you try to work it out? If not, then this thread is pointless until you try to work it out. Only make a thread if he refuses to make it right.

I really wouldn't care, as long as he fixed it. If he told me to f off, then I might be a little mad.

With all due respect Jcure,

I think that posting here without trying to work it out with a seasoned member has left a bad taste in our mouths as well.

Being a new member is no excuse for using poor judgement.....I agree with pwerfel, people will have serious reservations about dealing with you in the future if you knee-jerk things like this. I'm not taking anyone's side as I absolutely detest being lied to, but I don't think you can make that determination yet. Finally, changing the thread title to "retracted until things made right" doesn't undue what has already been done.
 
It doesn't undo it at all...

It's not like all the members involve just delete their posts...

You should've just tried to work it out rather than waste all these members time.

I sure won't be dealing with you...
 
Yeah, he jumped the gun, but he is a very new member here.
I can see how a very new member could be upset if he was sold a used knife when told it was NIB.

Two lessons to be learned here.
Always try to work it out before starting a thread here, and never list a knife as NIB unless you're positive it is. The seller is also pretty new here, so I can see how this mistake could be made.
I'm sure they'll get it worked out.

I would have no problem dealing with either of them.

We have loyalty to our members so are you surprised when we get a littled heated? Listen to ken and hang around... there is not a knife site better so you would be seriously missing out.
 
Take a step back, calm down, contact the seller, work it out, report back how things turned out, repeat previous steps if necessary, move on.
 
We are getting it taken care of, thanks for the great support ken44,Also if i have made the veterans of this sight mad i apologize for my actions by creating this thread. I will just have to make sure next time the item is as advertised.
