In somewhat of a departure from my usual stag handled knives, I picked up this Case 6332 Chestnut Stockman CV. It had been in the showcase at my Case dealer for a while and looked like it needed a good home, but, like all my knives, will work for its living as it did today while repairing a bird feeder.
I was impressed with the fit and finish and especially the grinds on all the blades. They were perhaps as even as I've ever seen on a production knife.
Out of the box, all three blades easily push cut typing paper and after a swipe or two on the Sharpmaker and the strop, the blades are what y'all call "scary sharp".
I extremely pleased with this delightful little knife and look forward to using it even more.
Please post up all the CV Chestnuts you may have in time for the Holidays.
