I like your carry method :D

I'm getting one of these. As soon as Jim gets one in Green Canvas Micarta.

I made two knives for myself recently. The first is this little Bushboot with White Oak crotch handles. (I made myself a sheath too.) I got to test it at the Trackrock hammerin last weekend, and it was really comfortable to use to peel my walking stick, and for the whittling too.

I also made myself this one. Its a variant of the Knives Ship Free exclusive design that is going to be manufactured by Bark River. The 4" drop point blade did me right at the hammerin also.

This is mine next to the prototype that BRKT is going to make:

I made this Terassaur for Kevin Estella. Its got a slightly shorter blade (4" instead of 4.5ish).

It won't be long till they hit the market. I'll post a thread and 'in use' pics as soon as my buddy sends me the shots he took.

I'm excited. It'll be a Fiddleback design, and no one better to grind it. We plan to do more designs real soon too.

I don't really want to derail the thread from all the great pictures... but I'm sure I'm not the only one interested: what are the specs on that bad boy gonna be like? Steel? Convex grind? Ahh, you aren't the only one who's excited! Haha.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can already tell from the pictures that I will be purchasing one the moment they hit the market!

I just posted a thread here in WSS. We need a name, and I need y'all's help. The specs are there, but its a 4" blade, 4.5" handle. The steel will be 5/32" thick A2.

Um. Convex.

My latest woods knife, delivered from KSF on Wednesday.

Nothing too special, everyone has one.

Haven't done that much with it so far.But I like it.:)

I agree. I love the look of a knife that you can tell has been putting in some hard work

Did you put the edges on those howling rats? They're beautiful!
Thanks! Yes, I put those edges on, but it's easy when you use an Edgepro!

Is the handle on your proto even longer than 4.5, or is it just the angle of the pic?

Defenses...weakening.

I don't have search ATM, did anyone post any good reviews here? I am 20 pages into W&SS looking for mentions of it.

This combo will handle most of your chores, and won't get lost.
