Ok, lemme try this in order.
It's a Mashed cat sheath for a Swamp Rat Ratmandu with black paper micarta slabs I've had hangin' in my safe for about 3 years! LOL
The pouch is an Esee pouch for their knife sheaths. I love these things for most of my kydex sheaths! Their hole pattern matches up with most standard hole patterns for large tekloks so they're real handy for kydex!
And good eye on the tin! It's a Sucret's throat lozenge tin. They're slightly shorter than an altoids tin, but about 1/4" thicker! I've been toyin' with this kit for a bit & I've got a tritium torch (tritium flashlight requiring no batteries) I really wanna utilize in a tin kit. One of those "set it & forget it" kind of things that won't need upkeep if I don't need it or forget to replace batteries. It's a work in progress, but here's a pic.
The tritium torch is the thick black block on the right. The idea I'm workin' on with this tin is primarily fire, with shelter, food, and escape all about equally second. I really need to add some water tabs. Oh, and the weird black thing at top is a hobo fishing reel I mocked up out of a scrap of kydex I had layin' around. I'm pretty proud of it! It works great & weighs next to nothing.
Edited to add, on the outside of the tin, I've got a tiny diamond sharpener and an arrowcard dogtag attached with duct tape.
