I am *thiiiiis* close to buying an Emberlit Ti.

do it! need extra convincing? it's super efficient that gathering and prepping the fuel for it takes very little time...that time saved over a normal camp fire means you have more time to just sit back and relax :D

Alright. You got me. Order has been placed. You jerk. :D

Ya'll are tryin' to cause me to spend $$$! :D

As you should. Got mine today. Had to try it out, despite being an apartment dweller. Scavenged some twigs and sticks from a few trees on the edge of the property, and it was way more than I thought I would need. Started it using a bit of fatwood. Boiled two cups of room temperature water in my Snow Peak Ti Mini Solo in about seven minutes or so. I did get the cross bars, but did not use them for my first use. The cup nested down inside the stove and on top of the fire like it was meant to be. I was torn on whether or not to get the stuff sack, but it came with a heavy duty ziplock type bag that will work just fine, is very light, and is free. Very, very happy with this thing. I cannot wait to get it out on the trail. I was using a pocket rocket with 8 oz canisters (I always carry two- never know when one is going to peter out), so I just knocked a lot of weight off of my cookset. Very, very cool product. And if you go with the stainless version, it still weighs less than just a full canister of isobutane alone. The pocket rocket is going to hang around, just because it is a great piece of gear, but this thing is a feather compared to that set up.

Picked up a Hennessey Hex Tarp for my hammock:

I bought a used moonlander, my new winter bike. Note 2nd pic has no kick stand, just fat tires holding them up. Despite the tires it is about as fast as any mountain bike I've ridden.

Sweet Surly! Winter biking has gotten pretty big around here, but I have yet to try it.

Give it a try, it's a blast. These are nice, but really any mountain bike is fine. Just have to be sure to clean them after use or they'll rust up.

I just received a new to me, NIB Chris Reeve Aviator. I've been wanting one of these ever since I traded my first one for a Dozier Wilderness, about 10 years ago. I finally traded for one and I'm reluctant to use it since it's NIB.
