Boils water really quick. About two minutes.
Considered the titanium version but couldn't justify the extra $40 for only a 6 ounce weight reduction.![]()
@hikingmano: we demand pics!that's funny about the titanium trowel. people will often say "just use a stick", etc. but that takes a long time so you have to do it way ahead of time so it's almost impossible to dig a proper depth if you're on the move rather than overnighting...then there's the hard soil full of roots and pebbles. i'll probably buy one too.

If/when you get a chance can we see it in a stuff sack next to a nalgene or something similar please? Congrats on the great purchase. They seem like awesome bags.
thanks! i actually didn't buy the compression stuff sack for it. i want to try just putting it in the bottom of my pack and letting the rest of my stuff compress it to see if that's a better way to pack it.[...]
I'm debating an Enigma, too, but it's $$$. Knowing me, it'll be a few years before I go on another backpacking shopping spree, but even with stuff available now, upgrading to a quilt and lighter pad will knock 2lbs off my load. 'Course I don't really notice my load at this point, so the money is probably better spent elsewhere.I have an eye on upgrading my Enlightened Equipment quilt to their new DownTek quilts..
