I like that scandi folder....Very cool.
It does my heart good to see the PSK knives in the thread. It is a knife I still get alot of requests for. I've made well over 700 of these to date.
I've been carrying one of my WUK (wharnecliff utility knife). I really like that blade style for EDC.
Scott
So do you make the PSK with the wharncliffe blade?? That would be badass...
blake
A new Laconico, fresh out of the mail...

This thing is sweet! If you look closely you will see shades of the bushcraftyish (like that word?) knives Ray has been making lately. It is 1/8" 1095 and with Ray's typical, laser-like cutting geometry. The blade is a touch less than 3" and the handle is just a touch more than 3". The sheath is an excellent design that allows the knife to be carried almost horizontally on the belt - perfect for cross draw carry. It might be the perfect back up knife - big enough to fill in for a primary, small enough to carry easily as a backup.
This is a super design.
is that the knife from the design thread? looks nice![]()
No it isn't, but it is similar. The one from the design thread is longer.
Scott, can you post a pic of the WUK? It sounds sweet.
Here you go. I've been doing them with the point a 1/4" up from the edge to add just a slight amount of belly.

Each one was made by a different Hungarian knife maker.
switchblade - do you have any contact information for the Saman or Kilden knives or the other Hungarian maker that made the Black Micarta Bush knife? Of course, if they do not speak English I guess we will just have to admire them from afar.
